Purchasing a Blackberry at R4448 a few days before Christmas, made my festive season. the sales person mentioned that should the phone give problems within 2 weeks, we should return the phone and it will be replaced or I can request a credit. guess what, it worked beautifully for 2 months and then all problems started, freezing, rebooting by itself 3-4 times per day and frustrating my staff and bosses when they can not get hold of me. I am in a high profile position and time is a problem, but I finally managed to get all the paperwork to approach Game and get a refund for a phone that clearly is not worth R4448. I was told that they can not give me credit and will have to get the phone repaired which could take 21 days and even then there is no guarantee, because these phones are giving problems - why sell equipment that is giving problems. I bought another phone with insurance for R4900 because I can not wait 21 days and still do not have any guarantee that I can get at least some of the money spent on this phone back from Game. For a big chain store like Game (Mass stores, I find this absolutely in bad taste and with no protection to me as the customer.
