Sony xperia z1 overheating

I got a Sony Xperia Z1 from Nashua Mobile. The same day I got it I noticed that the phone gets hot while working with it. It gets so hot that the phone displays an error message that says its going to shut down the camera.
This is a phone that has a very good camera. That's why I bought it. Now I can't use the camera due to overheating problems.
I knew that there is a 7 day period in which I may return the product if there's any problems so I returned the phone after 4 days. I expected them to give me a new phone, but it is now 10 days since I've returned the phone and I haven't received anything back.
The sales person told me that the problem is at Sony's side and that Sony do not want to replace the phone. This is very disconcerting because it is very clear that the phone is not right.

I have googled "Sony Xperia Z1 overheating" and it seems that there is a BIG problem with this phone world wide.

The sales person at Nashua Mobile was very helpfull, but it seems that Nashua isn't saving me time or saving me money and is definitely not putting me first.

I want another phone please!
