Landline issues continue, no feedback

Telkom have taken over 5 months in organising infrastructure in a new suburb in Cape Town. Ive been following up on almost a weekly basis, everytime a different excuse is heard. "Awaiting end of financial year end", "halt on line installations" etc.

As a consumer not only am I irate on having to wait so long for a line (so I can then apply for adsl for internet access) but also the fact that I am at Telkoms mercy as there is no other supplier.

What poor service and lack of accountability.
I have emailed esculation centres, called call centres, gone to Telkom direct stores and I have no firm commitment or feedback if any. Today I found out that I may have to wait another month!!!

This is complete and utter BS.
