Telkom
No Infrastructure

I moved into a newly developed suburb in Bloemfontein called Shellyvale "1 August 2013". I do have a telephone point installed in my place, but according to Telkom i cant get adsl because there are No Infrastructure in place. The sales representative at my local Telkom store said that and i quote "its to expensive" and therefore will not be done. This is total BS. What is the point of Telkom installing VDSL if i cant even get a 1mb line. The sad thing here is, 1.9km from my front door the adsl exchange is 10mb according to Telkoms adsl checker. This is the 21st century and i'm in titled to a fixed line and not that wcdma Telkoms trying to sell me.
