I was a loyal vodacom customer for 15 or so years with a business account of approx R2000 to R3000 per month
I wanted to cap my usage so I went to the vodacom shop in Howard centre in pine lands where is was told the best way was to convert my business package to a prepaid top up package which would give me about 300 mins a month any further air time I needed I was told could be purchased at 1.80 per min
It turned out after I changed my contract that the 300 mins was R300 and I was paying 2.60 a min not 1.80
The sales person who helped me was new to the store and did not have a clue what she was offering me
I went back to the store immediately and the manager said they will cancel the contract a year later they are still stalling me I go to the shop they tell me I must deal with the cancellation dept the cancellation dept tells me the shop must deal with the problem they cannot help me the shop promises to escalate the dispute I get SMS that they will contact me nobody ever does I go back to the shop they say I must contact the cancellation dept I try same story and so it goes on in desperation I get a cell phone for99c a min so I can run my business a horror story
