Cancellation of upgrade due to no suitable package

I wanted to upgrade to a contract which could include an iPad on my gig 2, and retain my cell number as it is a business number. On the 5th of July I enquirer at the Vodacom shop at The Glen and the sales assistant confirmed I could get what I needed with a dual sim, however, they did not have stock of the iPad 32g, . They suggested I go to the nearest istore and do my upgrade, then come back to them to activate the dual sim. I did the migration upgrade and returned to the Vodacom store to activate the dal sim, only to find out that it could not be done. I immediately returned to the istore, cancelled the migration and took it a new contract with the iPad. Till now all was fine until Wednesday the 31 st July when I found I could not make calls on my phone. I called Vodacom immediately only to find out that the migration cancellation did not go through as the cancellation documents sent by the istore could not be opened, and Vodacom Tradepartner conveniently closed the cancellation request. I am the client, no contact was made with me. My cancellation can be processed but only on the 31st of August till then I have no airtime and all Vodacom can say is 'our hands are tied'.
