The power is in your hands? I don't think so

Telecommunications

I recently upgraded from a Controlchat contract (which has been discontinued) to a StraightUp contract. The contract has been sold wrongly to us as an ALTERNATIVE to the ControlChat, when in actual fact it is something completely different.

Besides the fact that we are now being charged an extra R50 a month (for 24 months) for an MP3 player that we do not want (after it was agreed that we will take the cheaper contract without the mp3 player), R500 of my built up airtime has disappeared because the new contract does not work with airtime (as I expected it to, since it was sold as an ALTERNATIVE and there for SIMILAR contract to the ControlChat that was discontinued). On inquiry in store yesterday, I was told that it was "business policy" for the airtime to be voided. It horrifies me to know that I am doing business with a company which calls it "BUSINESS POLICY" to YOUR MONEY. As soon as this contract expires (unfortunately only in 2 years), I am taking my business as far away from Cell C as humanly possible.

Please contact me VIA EMAIL (NOT PHONE) if you wish to contact me to rectify this matter.
