Een trying to get service from MTN from 13 March.
finally discussed with someone on 03/04/2013. enquired if a port would mean my current number would be cut off. i was informed by Aiden Kelly that i would not be, that the old sim will only be disconnected when i receive and activate my new sim. thereafter i ordered the contract and the port. and again, received no communication until i called back on 10/04/2013 when i was told that there was a problem with the porting. i made one call to Vodacom and within minutes the problem was resolved. then on Thursday 11/04/2013 my number was cut off, i had no way of being contacted, on friday 12/04/2013 i spent over 3 hours on the phone with many different ppl who were not able to help me, and eventually i spoke to a supervisor, and he promised that my number will be re-instated before i leave the office. this was not the case... the number was re-instated for a few hours on Monday 15/04/2013, and again was cut off. i received the new sim on Monday15/04, however i was told that my subscription was suspended. contacted MTN Direct and emailed, but got no responses. and shocked and unsatisfied with the lack of service received as a new client.
