On the 02 March went to Neotel shop in Menlyn to cancel my account due to very bad voice quality and extremely slow internet (struggled to get 100 kbps never mind 10 Mbps) - i.e. not what I had signed up for.
I was told to write a letter, which I did and it was submitted immediately in the shop. 05 March I received a confirmation email with ref. no. SREQ_72313456 and instructions to wait for a call from the retentions dept. Call came two weeks later, I was told that the Contract will be cancelled from 02 April, and my last bill (April bill) would be for outstanding calls and the termination fee. I recently got my April bill (which, btw, still goes to an incorrect email address), and it was for April's line rental and no termination fee, which indicates to me that the Contract has not been cancelled.
Emailed talk2us last week to explain the situation and ask for my final correct bill, but never got a response. Can someone from Neotel please explain what is going on and rectify? All I want is my Contract to be cancelled as agreed, and the correct final invoice issued - I am already back with Telkom and disconnected all Neotel equipment on the 01 April.
