I took out a 2 year contract with Neotel in June 2012 but have experienced poor service with regards to the use of their 3G stick (which is slow) and the handset (calls not coming through or cutting off whilst on the phone). I have informed Neotel that i want to cancel my contract end of March, but they responded that i have to pay a termination fee first of R514 before they can terminate. I'm currently paying a monthly fee for a service that i'm not receiving and they also expect me to pay a termination fee for wanting to cancel because of their poor service. When i took out the contract no mention was made of a termination fee should i cancel. This termination fee is ridiculous which i refuse to pay.
