Besides incredibly bad service and attitude at the Franchise Stores I still switched my Data contract from Vodacom to MTN. I have had a 500 Mb data contract for a number of years and never had to pay in for exceeding the limit. I have been with MTN for 1 1/2 months on a 2 Gig Data contract with a wireless router (now disconnected) and have exceeded the limit on both time periods! I have been charged for PSD calls which no one can explain why or what the calls are, I had to pay an extra R19 rand to get the detail bill which still does not show me how this came about just giving a time and huge data amounts. The only response I got was that when I was not using the internet I should unplug the router because these PSD calls will continue and be charged at 27cents...
I have a dual sim with the second being in the modem for my laptop out of the office (most of the time) which over the 1 1/2 months shows as total 408 Mbs - does not make sense.
Hold forever on help desk only to eventually be told I need to call another help desk that when i eventually get through sends me back
I just get the horrible feeling that I am being taken for a ride and regret having switched...
