Billed for a router I dont have

During the month of November 2012 I started experiencing problems with my router. After approximately 3 weeks of speaking to the Call Centre I was told that the router is no longer working correctly and that I should take it to a Repair Centre. I decided on the 1/12/2012 to take it to the Northgate Branch and hand it in. When i arrived the manager, Benny Magashule, made it clear to me that he will not accept the device because it wasn't within the 7 days of it being purchased. Because I had it for almost a year, I must arrange with the Call Centre to collect it. I explained to him that the Call Centre told me to bring it here. He then told me to leave the store with the device. I was so disappointed and asked him to consider what I was told. After trying to speak to him and reason with him, he walked away so left the device in the store on a shelf. He told me take it and I told him that I dont want a broken device.
Since then I have been trying to resolve this problem with MTN but nobody wants to take responsiility and my emails keep getting sent to HVRC Repairs.
I stopped my debit orders with MTN because I refuse to pay for device i dont have.
What now???
