Number Port Pending FOREVER!

On Monday 25 March 2013 I attempted to port my number from Altech Autopage to Cell C.
It is now Sunday 31 March 2013. Currently when calling it, the message indicates that the number does not exist. I have been following up on this every day with the people @ the Tyger valley store. Since Tuesday morning I have lost signal on my original sim card and the status according to cellc is just pending.
I have the new sim, but no signal. The people in store are not able to tell me where the hickup is. I was told that a port would take a max of 48 hours. It has now almost been 1 week.

I urgently require use of my phone for work and for banking purposes, as it is end of the month and urgent payments needs to be made :-(

Please advise on what I should do next as I am running low on patience.
