Yet another problem with Vodacom.
I ordered a router device 2 months ago through vodacom direct sales, I was able to use it for about a 3 weeks.
I started experiencing difficulty with the connection. The device was losing signal as I was connecting. I called in the customer care line who advised I should take it to the repairs centre nearest to me.
Device was booked in at Pretoria 2013-04-19 in the morning with Job 8791057, later the same day I received an sms to collect the device.
I called in to make sure if the sms was correct since I was told it may take up to 2 weeks before collecting.
I spoke to a lady who told me that I opened the device before sending it for repair as such I must pay them R57. and they are not fixing the device. I said to her the allegations she is making are huge and I am not accepting that, she then said I must collect my device and hung up on me. I was so fuming I called in the call centre and they also advised they can't help me only the repairs centre in pretoria can assist.
I will be sitting with the device that I will have to pay for for another 22months and disfuctional.
Now how do I prove that I did not do anything to that device. I am conned.
