Contacted MTN call centre to enquire where I should take my phone for repairs. The track ball on my Blackberry was not working. I was advised to take my phone to Randburg Square and they will be able to assist me. I get there & they were unable to help me. They advised me that I should go to Northgate they have a MTN outlet that wud be able to repair my phone while I wait. They were unable to call them & check if they were open, because they have only one phone in the whole store. I get to Northgate and there are 2 MTN stores. I go to 1& they advised to go to the other & they will fix my phone while I wait. I get there & am told it will take 13 working days to sort my fone out. I advised them of what I was told by the other stores. when I handed my phone in I advised them I have asthma and could they please give me a courtsey phone. I was told that all their courtsey phones were out. Needless to say I was hospitalised and I did not have a phone. When my phone was ready, I realised that it is a refurbished phone and not mine or a new one. I am still paying for a new phone in my contract. This level of service is unacceptable.
