I Blackberry Z10 (which is still under warranty) stopped functioning on 2 January 2014. I took my phone to Cell C Lakeside Mall for repairs. They advised that repairs will take up to 21 working days. A few days later I received 2 text messages from Cell C - confirming that my phone had been booked in for repairs. I received no further messages. On 1 February 2014 I returned to Cell C Lakeside Mall to make enquire about my phone. After waiting 15 minutes for assistance I was abruptly told that I should have awaited communication from Cell C. I advised the person that 21 working days had passed and that I am entitled to know what is happening. He then advised that according to the system I will receive a new phone but that this would take another 2 weeks as Cell C had to wait for Blackberry to replace my phone. To date, I have not been contacted by Cell C in this regard. I am a contract customer and I have now paid a contract fee in respect of a handset which I have not had for more than 1 month.
