I signed a "24-month" contract with 8ta. My cell phone was in Nov 2012, which I immediately reported. I was contacted in Dec 2012 for an upgrade which I declined. End Feb 2012 I noticed my debit orders were still being deducted even though the contract period of "24 month" ended. I then contacted the customer care dept & requested that my contract be terminated with immediate effect especially since I signed a contract for "24 month" contract & not longer period. I again noticed the debit order was not stopped and called the customer care dpt. I called on the 19/03 only to be told a document needs to be completed & only then will my so called "24-month" contract will be cancelled. The consultant then rudely hung up without confirming my contact details to complete the document. Please note I have signed a legal document agreeing to a "24-month" contract & not a "26-month" contract and my request not to upgrade was ignored. I require that someone from 8ta contact me with confirmation that my so called "24-month" contract is terminated & confirmation on my refund.
