I regrettably upgraded my MTN contract at the MTN Trade Route Mall.
I was on a TopUp200 contract that expired earlier this year, and thus was running on a month to month billing. All that i wanted to do was upgrade the contract. The consultant did not bother explaining anything on the contract, and I requested if i could have the monthly contract fee in writing, to which he took offence too. Is a customer not entitled to receive this? I would have assumed this is normal procedure as i received it every other time. Furthermore, i requested that everything stays the same on my contract (specifically the billing date)
my debit order ALWAYS goes off on the 20th, & the airtime gets loaded as well. This month, nothing hap. the Debit order did not go through,
i contacted the owner of the store, Mr ASMAT, & am absolutely appaulled. He rudely tells me, i must phone MTN Directly as he cannot help me at all. (this is the store where i took out my contract, why cant he help me? every other store always gives support - so i said then il lodge it here, to which he got upset, started SCREAMING at me. then he accussed of wanting a legal document - i DID NOT request this!! i want this cancelled
