Vodacom Customer care a huge Joke!!!

I recently left my employer for another company, and need to get my number of 5yrs back on Pre Paid as it was briefly on a company contract due to my Position within the company. I have been told by vodacom that this is not going to happen lest my employee cancels the contract and pay a cancellation fee. We have informed vodacom that we do not wish to cancel the contract but rather change the number for the contract and continue with the contract. I called customer services and was told this can not be done, then whet into a branch @ the Glen, again i was told it could not be done and given a number for head office. I called head office and they told me they do not deal with such matters and that i should call customer care, Upon calling customer care, i got through to Ronald Maphosa who was extremely rude and out to prove me wrong for my request. I then asked to speak to his Manager Vuyo Phindela, and was told it would be a waste time. Upon speaking to Vuyo, it indeed was a watse of time. Being a consultant, my number is my bread and butter as i have built a clientele over the years on this number, all vodacom can say is sorry we won't help! A vodacom customer for 10yrs, Disgusted
