I am absolutely SHOCKED at Vodacoms service.
I am currently on a Top up 75 contract. I took this contract a few months ago. Vodacom phoned me and offered me this top up contract.
I stated when agreed to the contract that it was only an interim solution as I was waiting for the new Samsung S4. I was told I could upgrade this contract at any time in order to get the phone. This was clear in my request!
I then enquired with a Vodacom outlet to get the new Samsung S4 on contract. They informed me that I cannot upgrade the Top up. I then enquired if I could take out a new contract (Smart M) for the S4, but keep my number. I was told to raise a query through customer care.
I emailed customer care. Ref #0014Aa8PV1M0PF2S. 3 days later Vodacom phones me regarding the query I raised via customer care. They said they were going to investigate the situation and get back to me at the end of the day. I NEVER heard back from them.
I tried to sit with the Vodacom outlet to sort it out and phoned Vodacom ourselves. NO JOY
After 5 different people and no help whatsoever from Vodacom, I will go through another service provider. I have done everything in my power to resolve the situation. FRUSTRATED
