No response on requests to stop contract & refund

I have taken out the 8-ta contract in October 2011 as it was advertised as an excellent service.
I cancelled my adsl line at home a month later, but have had endless problems with the 8.ta connectivity and support service since the beginnimg.
I then had my adsl line - 4Mb/s - reinstated.
On two occasions the 8.ta support desk could not tell me why my connectivity was not working and only on the third attempt I was told that my debit orders had not gone off.
I then asked that my 8.ta service should be cancelled - went to the Telkom direct shop in Richards Bay where I was told that there is no reference number but that 8.ta would contact me within 8 hours - about a month later I had still not heard from 8.ta.
I went to Cape Town and asked at 3 different Telkom direct shops (2 x Somerset mall and 1 time Kennilworth mall) for assistance, but not one could find my account on the system and I was told to just ignore it as my service did not exist on the system.
The debit orders stopped for two or so months and now its going off again. I keep phoning and emailing 8ta and am getting no replies. The debit order is still going off. I have all the email correspondence. Pleae help
