Hi,

I purchased a Vodafone wireless router and 3G modem package from HiFi Corp on the 6th March 2013.

I excitedly plugged in the equipment at home and called the 082 155 number for help in setting the router up.

I quoted the model number: HG556a only to learn that none of the technical support agents had knowledge in the setting up of this device.

My concern is that :

1) The product is being sold without a knowledge base in place to support it.

2) There has been no endeavour on the part of the contact center staff to follow up on my enquiry.

Is this normal practice at VodacomSA?
