I had a 2 year contract with 8.ta for a 3G internet Modem from 5 Jan 2011 to 4 Jan 2013 taken out at South Coast Mall, Shelly Beach. However, I could not get a good signal so had to take out another contract with Vodacom. On 4 December 2012 I went into the 8.ta offices at South Coast Mall where I sat for half an hour making sure my contract was cancelled on due date. I was given a ref. and a case no. However, at the end of Jan. 2013 my bank acc was debited as usual. On 7 Feb I phoned 8.ta on 081180 and was told I had to send my cancellation in writing to 0880123113872. I went into their offices again on that day and they faxed my letter of cancellation on my behalf. However, my bank account haS AGAIN be debited. DO NOT TAKE OUT A CONTRACT WITH 8.TA BECAUSE YOU CANNOT CANCEL IT!!
