Being billed when contract expired and cancelled

On the 19th of July 2013 I went to 8ta in Eastgate to cancel my 2 year 3G data contract which ended on the 31st of August 2013. My account was debited on the 5th of September 2013 with the amount of R299, I then went to Eastgate the following day on the 6th of September to query my account being debited when I cancelled my contract. The staff member whom assisted told me that, that was my last payment and that my contract is cancelled and that I will no longer be charged. Today the 30th of September 2013 at 21:14, I was horrified to find out that my account was debited again with the amount of R299. I went and plugged in the 3G dongle to see if I had Internet connection, which I couldn't connect confirming that the Internet was in fact cancelled, but then why Am I being charged? On the cancellation forms I filled out on the 19th of July 2013, it states the date of cancellation to be on the 31st of August 2013. Please refund my money and assist with cancelling my contract as this type of service is unacceptable and terrible especially when I have been a loyal customer of 2 years.
