Telkom Mobile still did not cancel my contract!

My 8ta Contract expired in March 2013, and in May, I requested for the contract to be cancelled.
I was then asked by the staff of Telkom Mobile Festival Mall, to write a letter as well as bring a copy of my ID in order to cancel the contract. When I produced these documents at a later date, I was then told that they do not accept letters and that I need to call customer care - which I did thereafter. Customer Care advised that I should email them with the request to cancel my contract, which I have done. I then get copied on an email to retentions to please assist with the request, to which I still haven't received any response.
I then go to the Greenstone Branch in June, as I have been debited once again, and complain about this issue. They requested all of my information, and opened a case (Dont have my case number on hand) and said that I will not be debited at the end of July.
So fast forward to July - I am debited... August - Debited!!!
I refuse to pay for this contract and will now ask my bank to stop this debit order!
Telkom, you need to get your act together!
