Quick to sign up, not so quick to delive

I applied for a data contract, over the phone, on the 18 February 2013 and was told my sim card would be delivered in 3-7 working days. 7 working days pass and still no sim. Call your call center (20 minutes holding on) to be told they were short staffed in the applications department and the sim card would be delivered in 2 days time at the most. 2 days pass and still no sim. I call again (20 miniutes on hold) to be told that the sim is still at the warehouse and can only be received the following week. One option i have is to go buy a sim and then call the call center to activate it. So off i go and do that. Now i have a sim, but after an hour on hold trying to get hold of the activation department i give up.

Cell C failed to deliver only a sim card. Failed to notify me that there was any sort of hold up and failed to actively remedy the situation after i first complained.

The option on your call line for new contracts is answered imediately, but any other option regarding queries and complaints is ignored. I even contact you on email and through twitter, all ignored.

As a new customer, you managed to fail me before i even became active.
