3G connectivity NON-EXISTENT

I've been having trouble with my 3G data service since Nov 2012 in Bel Aire, Somerset West. At the time they informed me that they were busy upgrading the tower in my area. After the Dec holidays the upgrade has been completed and I was told that everything should be fine. BUT IT IS ANYTHING BUT FINE for all of January and February

The 3G connectivity is almost NON-EXISTENT and although it shows signal and connection, the data rate counts in bps (not even kbps!!!) It is so bad that gmail reports that it is not connected!

I have logged various service requests (S3-MJP3W-W1CQX, currently S3-SHY22-2710Z and 0013Ma8FVHE6KFPU) but it seems like Vodacom is not capable of fixing this problem - it has been more than 3 months now!!

I need to work from home, but it is impossible to do that. I am paying on a monthly 3G contract and Vodacom has not honoured their side of the contract to provide 3G connectivity.

I will now pursue to get the contract cancelled and refunded so that I can buy a different connectivity solution from a different service provider. I don't really want to do this - I just want Vodacom to fix the problem!!!

It was working fine before the upgrade started.
