I was a victim of perpetrated on a duplicate sim of mine in the amount of R7500! I informed Vodacom that my sim was missing as soon as i became aware of this massive usage on my second line. They advised me to open a case with SAPS and they would start an investigation on their side. 3 days later they still went ahead and debited my account for the full amount - so no investigation then! I went into Vodacare Gateway to query this issue. I went up to the counter for payments and spoke to Pavan. He was incredibly unhelpful and actually hostile, aggressive and rude. Only once our shouting match reached the ears of his manager did anyone even attempt to help me. This has regularly been my experience at Vodacare Gateway where the branch is run with a distinctly rude - we dont care about your problems - attitude. So much so that i avoid going there at all costs. The last word from Vodacom is that they will not help me regardless of whether the usage was or not - I must simply pay up - END OF. I find this attitude hugely unreasonable - they have refused to engage with me in any way to attempt to lessen the financial loss i have experienced.
