Service does not exist at MTN

I had my new HTC 1X for all of 5 months before problems set in. I took it back to MTN Cape Gate for repairs and it took longer than the stated delivery time. When I finally got my phone back, it still didnt work so I sent it back. This now fell over the Christmas shutdown period. I have now been struggling to get a straight answer from MTN where my phone is. The store says one thing and HVRC (the repairs) department say another. They NEVER phone you back and spin such a web of. I have caught them out on numerous occasions. You phone MTN head office and send e-mails, but they are just as bad. Their standard reply is: " We are working on your problem and will get back to you" which NEVER happens. The store even got the HTC rep in cape town to go to the MTN HVRC to try and find my phone. Why should HTC be looking for my phone when it was with MTN??? I wish I had never signed with them, but they know they have the upper hand and I cant cancel until my contract is up. This doesnt give them the right to treat me with such contempt. After all, I am the one paying their sallary by having a contract.
