HVRC and Insurance incompetence

Recently My Phone was damaged and I had to take it in for repairs. Initially I tried to phone MTN insurance to ask them what process I should follow to have this resolved. I sat on hold for 30min without any luck (at my own phone cost). I finally decided I couldn't wait any longer and went through to the store on 14th Avenue to have it looked at. The guy at the store was fantastic; he booked it in and was able to make sure that I also have a loan phone in the meantime. The damage recorded was a faulty WiFi and cracked screen (SR# 1-10043783127). The HVRC then called saying that they have received my phone and will fix, will I be paying cash. I told them that I had MTN insurance and they said I had to call insurance to get the repair approved. Again I tried to call insurance. Each time no answer. (Total amounting to 4 HRS talk time). I finally got the HVRC to communicate with them on my behalf which is when they called me. A wonderful girl finally helped with my issue and sent me the right forms and payment procedures which I did. After which I expected to get my phone back.
