I signed a contract in the middle of Jan for an HTC Desire X. Two weeks later the speaker on the phone stopped working. I took the phone back on 7/2. The consultant, Gugu, checked the handset box that everything was there and completed the job card and told me the warranty assessment should be done by 13/2 or 14/2. I called the repair centre today to find out whether the assessment was approved only to be told the phone was sent back and was received by the store yesterday and that repairs were not carried out since there was something missing from the box. Please note that nobody at the store called me at ANY stage to tell me this. I then went to the store this afternoon only for Gugu to tell me that the repair centre required the paper wrapping that was around the box since it has the IMEI sticker on it. I was informed that if I bring this in then I can collect my new phone on Monday. I do not have that wrapping anymore as I did not know it was important to keep, since no one told me this. I have been trying to call the store but there is no answer. I am not able to collect the phone on monday as I was promised it this week! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
