I bought a Blackberry 9320 from CNA. Within the 7 day Out of Box Failure period, my phone started giving problems and I took it back too the store. They took the phone and replaced me with a Blackberry 9720. Just after a month of having this phone it also started to give problems. I took the phone too the store and asked them to book it for the 6 month Warranty Assessment. This was on 19/11/2013. A week later I called Vodacom myself, as the handset was from their network, to find out what's going on. They informed me that the phone was sent from the Alberton repair centre too the Advance repair centre in Midrand, which raised the first red flags. On Monday, 02/12/2013, I was called by someone from CNA and told that my phone was ready for collection and that they did a software upgrade/repair on the phone. CPA law states that if a handset is found to have a fault in 6 months and the phone is a prepaid phone that the customer can choose to either take a brand new replacment phone or get a refund. If this phone was not faulty to begin with, why did they do a software upgrade?? I demand a refund and as it was purchased on my Edcon account, I want my account to be credited!!
