I renewed my contract with Cell C at the East Rand Mall branch and included an extra 1GB data on top of my 500mb free every month. The price i was quoted and the price i agreed to pay was R75 per month which is what was written on the contract and accepted and signed by me.
A month later when i checked my bill i saw that this extra 1GB was not activated and when i called the call center i was told that there is no R75 - 1GB data package so i need to go to the store so that they can rectify it. I went to the store and was told the same thing even though they had completed the forms and gave me the pricing on the contract. They are now telling me that they cannot do anything to assist me as the person that helped me with my upgrade no longer works there and made a mistake. I understand that i am not paying for the service and not getting it BUT i want to pay for it and i want what i was quoted for. I believe that this is a total breach of contract and i want to get what i requested from the start, my 1GB data @ R75 a month.
