After 10 years and another contract later Vodacom

VodacomMidrand are holding me accountable for a handset they lost while in for repairs in 2003! I found out about this on tuesday when I had to contact them. I opened a contract with them 6 months ago and there wasn't a problem. Now they want to hand me over if the amount is not paid by the end of the month. This issue is 10 years old and not my fault.
