Service levels are not the same

I've been with Afrihost for over 2 years and have trusted them with my business - I've become used to excellent service which exceeds most South African service levels. Unfortunately things are slipping - You've set the bar very high and are responsible to maintain that standard, clients are quick to forget the good things when things start going bad.

I have an unresolved support ticket [#SAV-746-29919]: Domain transfer. This problem started on the 6th of Feb 2013 and has still not been resolved - it is now 18h00 on the 11th of Feb. The last email correspondance received regarding this matter was on the 7th of Feb. I followed this up with another 3 emails asking for some feedback, followed by a phone call on the 9th of Feb. James then phoned me back to say the problem will be fixed later that day. Today the 11th of Feb I phoned again and spoke to Nick, the call lasted 25 minutes with the assurance that the problem will be fixed later today and I will be contacted when fixed. Still no feedback, so I followed it up with another email... and now my patience has run out.

I find this lack of communication unacceptable - it might be time for a new service provider...
