After starting the process in early December 2013, I finally got feedback from Afrihost after posting on their Facebook page about no responses. They phoned me and within 20min of my post, the problem was "resolved" and I was assured via email that the task was completed successfully. After getting a verification email I noticed that there was a complete different address on my account, I changed it myself. (where they got the the address I dont k now because my address was sent to them at least 4 times) In the last 24 hours my website has been down and my account suspended. This is the mail I got from "Accounts":
OpenSrs Transfer Result (FAIL): Domain not transferable. Domain status clientTransferProhibited does not allow for transfer.
I hope this information was helpful.
How is this helpful when the provider confirmed that the transfer was successful? Have not had a response from this person again, however, I got an email saying that my address is now correct. (THANKS A LOT)
Please pay attention to the problem at hand or I WILL move my business! Between my partner and I, we have several domains with this host and do not appreciate the lack of customer service!
