Problem was first reported in November. On certain occasions, I had to reboot my router a number of times a day. At other times, my connection would be fine for 2 days before I needed to reboot my router - no fixed pattern to the required reboots. The first gentleman I spoke to (can't recall his name, very helpful), explained that there was an issue with the downstream noise levels on my line, and that these were dropping out of the required range, which was causing me to lose my connection. I received a Telkom reference number, they called me to find out if my line had been fixed and said they changed some things on the system and it should be fine now. It wasn't. I reported the problem again a while later at Afrihost, same story. I have called at least 3 or 4 times about this issue. Telkom did eventually send a technician, who asked my cleaning lady what was wrong with the line (she didn't know), so he tested it, said it was fine and left. I've tried calling Telkom to get them to send out a technician again, but they say I need to go through Afrihost as my line rental is through Afrihost. Can somebody please take OWNERSHIP of this!!!
