I have been to Vodacom customer care in Sandton on 16/01 (Keith), spoke to advanced billing (Craig) on 31/01 and visited Vodaworld on 02/02 (Andre) to sort this out, but although Andre was the only one who seemed to listen and be willing to sort it out (he said he would take it to senior management), he said i would have a response within 3-4 days - it is now the 11th February and no response. Vodacom have already taken R 6, 500 out of my bank account on debit order which i do not believe is justified. I have been a Vodacom customer for over 10 years (since cell phones came out) and for the first time when i need them to listen, nobody comes back to me. I have 4 cell phone contracts with Vodacom, but it seems that this is not important to them. I have not used data to surf the net (this can be seen from the history on my account) and only use the phone to get e-mails and diary enquiries.
Nobody can tell me which sites the phone is polling, and i have now been forced to switch the data (on the 16th January) off on the phone.
