Upgraded line to 1Mps, now 20 days without service

Me and my family upgraded our line to 1Mps from 300kps with Cybersmart.

Immediately after, our internet speed became EXTREMELY erratic and stayed at 300kps - to the point where it became unusable even to browse websites.

A few days after that (and after a fault log) the connection has disappeared and has since been offline. We have reported the fault to Cybersmart multiple times, but they say it is telkom's fault. However, now I have read on other HelloPeter complaints that, upon leaving Cybersmart, internet connectivity and speeds return to normal..

Even if it is completely telkom's fault, Cybersmart has not made any effort to keep us in the loop / let us know what is going on at all. We have now phoned (over 30 minute wait times on their call centre - probably because there is something majorly wrong with their network and everyone is complaining) and said that if this is not taken to higher management and an explanation given, we would cancel.

That was 2 days ago, and no one has contacted to answer us.

We will be changing our ISP - and looking to avoid telkom entirely through iBurst.
