I own two accounts with Cell C, one is still active (074) and the other (084) was due for an upgrade in November 2013.I had never received a statement from them ever since I signed a contract with them for more than three years. After making several attempts and when our relations became very sour, I received one on the 23rd of Dec 2013 for the very first time. I have been humiliated by their consultants on many occasions who would switch off both my lines even if a payment had been made. The statement that was sent to me does not even show the details on how I accumulated all the charges. As we speak both my lines have been suspended for more than three months even though I have not skipped any payment. Sadly, my lines have been barred from having access to customer service to query this bad treatment. I also wonder why have they suspended (084) whose contract has already expired after they have failed to prove the claim they made that a payment for sometime in 2012 is outstanding-why now? This is really some kind of exploitation where my rights as a customer have been compromised.
