Upgrades and accounts shambles!!!

We have had a business account with Vodacom for over a decade and upgrade our contracts every 2 years as the old contracts come to an end. We generally obtain new handsets when we upgrade and for the most part have had no problems... until now.

I've had a nightmare from over the last 2 months. One of our lines was due for an upgrade and I requested a gold iPhone 5S 64GB to be part of the upgrade on 10 December 2013. Probably the most difficult phone to find stock of in the country. It has been almost 2 months and after countless calls to the call centre, courier delivery errors, stock errors and a pure lack of getting back to me, I still don't have a phone and now I'm also being told that our account is in arrears when all proofs of payment have been sent to Vodacom and the account still has not been sorted out.

I'm considering ending our relationship with Vodacom after all these years. Call centre agents don't have the authority to change things and the people who can effect change cannot be contacted directly and just never get around to helping.

My wife called Nashua for an upgrade to the same phone 3 weeks ago and she's been using her new iPhone for almost 2 weeks now.
