I phoned customer "care" at 08:57 today to change my postal address. I apparently failed some security questions. She asked me for my ID number, which I know. She asked for my Banks and type of account. What day Vodacom debits my account. What type of data package I have with Vodacom. All of that I know, except for the previous address, which I explained, since I have never received statemets from Vodacom - I do not know. I was unfortunate to have to move four times in the last two years!
Anyway, I obviously described to her how useless Vodacom is and that I can't believe, just yesterday, I upgraded my contract. Considering that YOU did not have the device that I wanted, I will discontinue my business with Vodacom. I am tired of your untrained Call Centre staff.
So after the call I stayed on the line to rate her... She did not hang up! Intead, she placed me on hold! She obviously gets a lot of bad reviews from clients. Why else would she put me on hold?
