Can't get any information about MY account

I called the call centre for one very simple request... To find out the date that my phone contract started, as the date my contract is supposed to end is questionable. All I wanted was for the consultant to check for me so I can work-out the dates issue. I got asked an array of questions, apparently for "security reasons". According to the consultant, the address I gave differs from that which is on the system. I've only ever had 2 addresses, my current and my previous one. So i gave her both, which according to her are wrong. Now how on Earth is it possible as I would never have used any other address other than the two mentioned!!! i told her its obviously an error on their side which must be fixed and i need to know which address they have, something she refused to do and told me I must figure out the information myself and call back once I have all the info! The nerve!!! She continued asking ridiculous questions such as my account number, contract type, Debit order amount (which by the way fluctuates every month). Obviously I wouldnt be be able to answer as I DONT HAVE A WRITTEN CONTRACT WITH VODACOM & NEVER RECEIVE STATEMENTS & DNT HAVE TIME TO QUEUE @ VODASHOP! FRUSTRATED
