I had a pre-paid 100 account with VM which I cancelled on 15/01. Ref:4503405. Happy Moloi never told me that the money on my phn (which was over R400) would be removed. After 7 phone calls that took almost 2 hours in total, I got the money refunded 5 days later! On the 4th call (17/01), I spoke to Sebome (ref:4561912) who explained that an amount of R722 would be debited off my account at the end of the month. I explained how my "contract" worked, "I pay R322 on the 1st of every month & on 7th the money is loaded", so if I cancelled my account there should be no more charges needed. He promised to resolve the issue within 24hrs. After 5 more calls, and MANY false promises of call backs, I spoke to Sibosiso (*S) on 22/01 who said the issue was resolved. I asked for confirmation in writing. I was placed on hold&later told that he would call me in 24hrs with a solution. Just like 5 other "Champs" before him, he! I called 4 times the next day, each time I asked to speak to *S, the call cut. I called again&was placed on hold for over 40 minutes in total. After speaking to *S, I was placed on hold for 50mins as he spoke to Accounts. He said he'd call me back the next day-he AGAIN!
