Cancelled Debit order without permission

Telecommunications

On the 3rd of January I noticed that my Vodacom Data contract has been suspended. As I have multiple Vodacom debit orders going off (R1500) of my account I did not notice the one of R250 did not go off for 2 months. I then contacted Vodacom to resolve the issue but received no assistance. I then contacted vodacom again on 15/1/2014 and was assisted by Michelle (her client manner was very good) Michelle escalated the call to the accounts department who would have contacted me to rectify the mess they created! Up until yesterday no one has still contacted me and I forwarded a mail to the customer service department. This morning I received a response from them indicating they will be deducting almost R900 from my account the 3 of February. I am very upset about this as I explicitly told them I did not cancel the debit order they have nothing showing it should have been cancelled and asked that because it was their misstake I would like to pay off the arrears over 2 months. I will not have the R900 available in my account thus the debit order will bounce and incur even more costs for me. I think it is only fair that because they acted without permission they allow me to pay it off
