There has been a fault with our telkom adsl line for TWO WEEKS. this means no internet, email and broadband. this was initially reported and techs arrived two days later. they left without giving any feedback. the problem persisted. i have been unable to log or sms complaints as i am told that a complaint has been logged. my pa has been on the phone to Telkom constantly. It is reported that the problem has been "escalated". that was a week ago. Telephone contract has resulted in my waiting for HOURS on various calls that generally get dropped after about ten minutes. the alarm is linked to the phone line to security is compromised. I have resolved to vote with my feet and seek another service provider for internet but am intrigued to hear Telkoms side of the story, or at least to speak to a human being about what the problem is. I spoke to MWEB and within a minute they told me the fault was with the phone line. We contacted ADT and they came around on time as promised and confirmed that fault in the alarm was with the phone line.
