On the 27th on December I went into vodacom4U fourways mall and filled in the papaerwork requesting that my number be transferred to my name from a relative's, 4 days later, new year's eve, I received SMSs stating that my contract and insurance were cancelled and my number was moved to prepaid
I called customer care and logged a complaint and they told me that it could take as long as 4 days to resolve as it was over the festive season. On Monday the 6th after not having a working phone for a week I phoned again and they told me that nothing had been done yet and they were very busy.
I spoke to a supervisor who said that I must've requested the cancellation
The branch says that they can't do anything, the problem needs to be corrected by the cancellations department and they suggest that I come in and start a new contract, I do not want to start a new contract, I just want my existing contract put into my name. I have been a vodacom customer for 12 years but if this is not sorted out soon I will move to the competition
