I have a contract with MTN which I pay R329 per month. I am now almost into a year of this contract and I decided to take out another contract. I applied for it, today I get a call saying I must change my payment method to debit order because they cannot access my ITC record unless I do it. An if I dont then they cannot process my application!
First of all, the reason why i cancelled the debt order on my account is due to the incompetence of the people working for MTN, they did not advise me that a double debit would come off my account and therefore I could not budget accordingly and it bounced! so in order to stop MTN from taking money as they please, I cancelled it.
Now im being bullied into putting it back on debt order or they wont approve my application for a 2nd contract!!
If Cell C can access my ITC with my ID number, why must I change my payment method just so MTN can "access it"
This is pure manipulation on MTN's side! I have a 3 year clear record with MTN, and they cannot see it??? yet the people @ the payment side can clearly see I've had no issues with them / defaults at all!
