Mid January I contacted Telkom to upgrade my adsl line from "Fast" to "Fastest" as the line is incredibly slow and we can bearly Skype. The Call Centre operator checked that the line was able to accommodate the new speed and "upgraded" my service. To date, nearly 2 months later, my line speed has not increased at all, despite numerous calls (30 plus) to the call centre and being passed from department to the other and a "fault" logged - after the log of each fault the technician calls me to report my line is now fixed... but it remains the same. I logged a complaint online about a month ago and a lady called me back the following day saying she would change the 4G line to a 6G line and that will solve my problems - it made no difference! I called in my Internet Service provider, replaced my router and checked my system. At Telkoms request i ran a speed test - and the line is running at 0.43 which, according to the consultant is very slow - and so this keeps on going. Accoridng to my Service Provider the line speed is Down Load 1.33 and Upload 0.54!!! Please can someone sort it out and give me the service i am paying for - or if it cant be upgraded tell me and adjust my charges!!
