Don't make promises you cannot keep

I ordered a phone online on the 23/01/2014 at 9:30 (surely that would be one of the first sales in the morning) as i was told it was the best way to do it and that if i confirmed everything by 1PM i would qualify for next day delivery which is very impressive... to which on the 24/01/2014 i waited eagerly to receive my phone.. at 2:30 i phoned to check where my package was and was informed that the phone was "on delivery". at 5 pm no delivery, i then spent 2 hours on sat trying to get through to the upgrades department, after calling 082 1944, 082 1959 (waited 5 Min's each time before giving up) 082 1945 (which doesn't work at all "the number you have dialed does not exist") to then finally getting through and being told that the courier came at 6 pm (which i am not at work and like i said i ordered at 9:30 am so why am i the last person to get the delivery??) and did not receive any call to find out where i am. Monday morning i have to refuse delivery in order to cancel my contract as i am completely sick and tired of Vodacom considering they make promises that they cannot keep and the fact that i have been with them for 12 years with 2 contracts makes it that much more frustratin
